Social Media Strategy in Action
Late Night Hope:
From Nighttime Comfort to a Core Content Series
While at To Write Love on Her Arms, I created and launched Late Night Hope, a video series designed to meet people where they are, offering short, encouraging statements of hope and solidarity during moments of struggle.
What began as a nighttime series quickly resonated with audiences, leading it to evolve into one of TWLOHA’s most successful and recognizable video formats.
Today, the series' format has become a core part of the organization's video content, posted at all times of the day and driving millions of views across platforms.
Performance Highlights:
Engagements: 236k+
Shares: 35.6k
Platform(s): Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
Back to the Basics:
Shaping Raw, Real Conversations into Stories That Connect
While at To Write Love on Her Arms, I supported the launch of Back to the Basics, a podcast dedicated to returning to the core of mental health conversations, removing stigma, embracing honesty, and fostering authentic dialogue.
As the video editor for the podcast’s social media clips and full-length YouTube episodes, I transformed hour-long conversations into engaging, bite-sized moments optimized for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
From selecting standout moments to crafting visually compelling social-first edits, I ensured each piece captured the podcast’s raw, honest spirit while aligning with TWLOHA’s visual identity and voice.
This project strengthened my skills in multi-format video editing, social media optimization, and translating long-form conversations into impactful digital content designed for today’s audiences.
Political Psychology & Storytelling:
Turning Academic Theory into Social Content That Educates and Engages
Bringing together my academic studies in Political Psychology and my background in digital content creation, I developed a series of educational social media content that explored the intersection of media, political identity, and voter behavior.
This project aimed to translate complex academic theories—like agenda setting, framing, and political polarization—into digestible, engaging digital content for everyday audiences.
These pieces not only helped bring my academic work to life but also demonstrated the power of visual storytelling in breaking down academic silos and making political science more approachable and actionable for wider communities.
Why Content Matters.
I Believe Content Should Do More Than Inform—It Should Make People Feel Seen
To me, content isn’t just about numbers, it’s about connection. It’s about showing up authentically, meeting people where they are, and creating stories that help them feel understood, valued, and empowered to act.
Whether I’m producing a 15-second Reel or a long-form video, I approach content creation with:
-
Empathy
-
Strategy
-
Purpose
Because the best stories aren’t just heard, they are felt.
